capri-days.

well, once again it's been a few days since i last talked to you all. i'm getting really excited about the trip only 4 days, 1 hour, and 30 minutes before i board the greyhound to chicago, then catch a cab to the airport, and finally get on the plane to LA. the past few days have been a little boring, i've just been working and watching roseanne. well, and then there's the occasional p90x whenever i get the chance. i've also been trying to get my dad... AAHHHHH, I'M SO FREAKING TIRED OF THOSE STUPID DELL COMMERCIALS WITH THE "LOLLIPOP, LOLLIPOP" SONG!!! i just heard it for the second time in one commercial break, not to mention that they show it at least once each break. i hate dumb commercials. i mean people go to college and get degrees to make this garbage. i could make better commercials than that and i'm a 19 year old with no experience in anything. ok, well back to the dad story. i've been trying to get my dad to call this guy who smokes cigarettes while he drinks his capri-suns on the back of his truck, to buy his jetta. it's been over a week since we've been in contact with capri-man and nothing has happened yet. but if everything goes well, which it won't, i'll be driving a jetta in the near future. well anyway i'm just gonna veg-out some more before i have to go to work tomorrow at 1 (the worst/longest shift ever).

krispy kreme.

i've accidentally managed to leave a few days gap in my blogging. so lucky for you i'll try to sum it all up in one post. the other day mom took me to the peddler's mall and surprisingly it was super sweet. i got this awesome lady of guadalupe sign/painting thing (it's really hard to describe so i'll just leave it at that). i also found a three piece mirror set that has mountains, an eagle, some buffalo, and an indian chief painted on them in gold and black paint. all of these put together only cost about $13. let's see what else did i do? hmmmm. i went to the pool today. oh and then after that i went to ear x-tacy in the highlands (i know, i'm so hardcore). i had never been there either and it was pretty ok. they've got some good posters. on the way back alex and i couldn't resist the neon red sign that said hot and ready (or something like that) at krispy kreme. i got a dozen assortment. yum. i'm going to save at least one for tomorrow morning when i go see harry potter 6 for the second time. maybe i'll get to see another preview for "where the wild things are". oh i almost forgot. i found this rediculous/cool song. you will think it's so stupid, but trust me in about an hour or so you'll be singing it. it's infectious.

wild things.

i went to see harry potter last night (in costume of course) and i saw a preview for "where the wild things are". it looked so awesome. i mean arcade fire is doing the soundtrack. how can you go wrong with that? anyway, i think that the kid's costume would be cool to wear on halloween (hint hint). the trailer gave me chill bump so i'm going to post it:

ich schwimme gern.

so maddie had suggested that i use my blog to document my trip to cali. so you can look forward to hearing every detail about my trip. haha. i bet you're so excited. anyway, the other day she also told me that the teen choice awards are going to be held one of the days that i'm there. alex and i checked the nominations list and basically everyone is going to be there. so of course i'm going to go stand outside of the red carpet and see all those famous people. sounds pretty cool. in other news, i'm going swimming today for the second time this week. and then i'm going to the midnight premier of harry potter. needless to say: very excite.

cali.

well, appearantly the pictures from my last post aren't showing up. but i guess that really doesn't matter because i'm going to CALIFORNIA (that's right, california) on the 4th of august. so i guess i won't be buying all those things i talked about last time. but whatever i don't care. my friend alex came in from germany to visit for about a month and he decided he wanted to go so i said, "ok". so we're going to catch a greyhound bus to chicago that night and catch a flight from there to LA. needless to say, i'm pretty pumped. we're also going to be able to be at the red carpet for the teen choice awards. cool, right? we're staying until the 11th and then coming home the same way we went. i'm so excited and definitely willing to give up those things that i want to go on this sweet trip. i can't wait.
